Ingredients
  

  • 30 oz tinned peaches in light syrup
  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • ½ cup butter unsalted
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the canned peaches (with the syrup), brown sugar, corn starch, vanilla extract, and ground cardamom (if using).
  • Pour the mixture into an 8x10 inch baking dish.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the peaches.
  • Melt the butter and pour over the cake mix, making sure that there are no dry spots remaining.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the cobbler is golden brown and bubbly.
  • Sprinkle the cobbler with a small amount of brown sugar and broil for a few minutes, until the sugar is melted and bubbly.
