Heat the milk and water in a saucepan over medium heat.

Once the milk starts to steam, add the oats, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, brown sugar, maple syrup, chia seeds, and salt to the saucepan and stir to combine.

Reduce the heat to low and cook until the oats are soft (about 10 minutes).

Serve the oatmeal into bowls and top with your desired toppings. I like to top mine with some chopped pecans, sliced bananas, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
