These maple glazed carrots with brown sugar are the perfect side dish for any holiday meal! The carrots are first coated in a glaze made from butter, maple syrup, and brown sugar and then roasted in the oven until they are nice and tender. The result is a delicious and festive side dish that your guests will love!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound carrots green tops attached
  • 2 tablespoon butter unsalted
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Wash and peel the carrots and cut the green tops so they're about ½-inch long.
  • Add the carrots to a baking dish in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle the brown sugar, butter, maple syrup, salt, and pepper on top of the carrots. Toss the carrots well to coat them in the glaze mixture.
  • Bake in the oven for 15 minutes then remove the baking dish from the oven and toss the carrots again.
  • Place the dish back in the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
  • Remove the dish from the oven, serve, and enjoy!
