Ingredients

  • 4 pita bread
  • 2 tablespoon olive or avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Cut the pita bread into even strips or triangles.
  • Put the pita, oil, and seasonings in a large bowl and toss to coat.
  • Place the pita chips in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Make sure not to overcrowd the basket, as this will result in unevenly cooked chips.
  • Cook for 4-6 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve immediately with your favorite dip.

Notes

If you don’t have an air fryer, you can use your oven instead. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to cook your pita chips.
