Bacon and cheese phyllo cups are a delicious, flaky snack that is sure to please any palate. They consist of a crunchy, buttery phyllo pastry that is filled with bits of salty bacon and a mixture of melted gruyere cheese and cream cheese. Ingredients
 
 

  • 15 phyllo shells
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 3 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 2-3 green onions sliced
  • ½ cup shredded gruyere cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees Celsius). Once preheated, cook the bacon for 8-10 minutes, or until crispy.
  • Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, green onions, shredded gruyere, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Spoon the cream cheese mixture into the pre-made phyllo shells.
  • Transfer the shells to the air fryer basket and air fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (177 degrees Celsius) for 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove the shells from the air fryer and top with bacon pieces and extra green onions. Enjoy!
