Ingredients

  • 8 ounces brie
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • ¼ cup pecans chopped
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Place your wheel (or wedge) of brie in the middle of the sheet of pastry.
  • Fold the pastry up and around the brie, enclosing it completely so the cheese does not escape once melted. You may need to trim off a bit of pastry if you have too much excess on top.
  • Place the wrapped brie in the air fryer basket, seam side up.
  • Brush the top of the pastry with a beaten egg. This will help it to brown and get a nice shine once baked.
  • Cook the brie for 13-16 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • While the brie is cooking, prepare the topping by combining the maple syrup and brown sugar in a small saucepan. Heat until the brown sugar has dissolved, then stir the pecans through.
  • Once the brie is cooked, remove it from the air fryer and drizzle with the maple pecan topping. Serve immediately.
