Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 pounds potatoes Yukon Gold
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions
 

  • Start by peeling and chopping your potatoes into 1-inch cubes.
  • Next, add the potatoes to a large pot with 1 tablespoon of salt and cover with water.
  • Bring the water to a boil and cook the potatoes until they are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  • While the potatoes are cooking, add the heavy cream, butter, and broth to a saucepan and gently warm on the stove. Do not bring to the boil.
  • Once cooked, drain the potatoes and add them back to the pot.
  • Use a potato masher, potato ricer, or an immersion blender to mash the potatoes to your desired consistency.
  • Next, add the hot cream mixture to the potatoes and stir until combined.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper, then serve hot. Enjoy!
