    Why You'll Love This Recipe

Cherry mango popsicles are the perfect summertime treat! Here are a few reasons that we think you'll love them:

    • They're refreshing, flavorful, and easy to make. Plus, they're healthy and fat-free.
    • This recipe is easily customizable – feel free to add your favorite fruits or sweeteners.
    • They make a great dessert or snack for both kids and adults. Homemade popsicles are always a hit!

What You’ll Need To Make Cherry Mango Popsicles

Ingredients needed to make cherry mango popsicles
    • Frozen mango: You can find frozen mango at most grocery stores. If you can't find it, you can always substitute it with another type of frozen fruit or even fresh mango.
    • Coconut milk: We like to use full-fat coconut milk for this recipe, but you can use any type that you prefer. The coconut milk gives the mango puree a delicious creamy texture and a little hint of coconut flavor.
    • Frozen cherries: Frozen cherries are the perfect complement to mango, but you can use any type of frozen fruit that you like. We used sweet dark cherries for this recipe.
    • Maple syrup: Maple syrup is our sweetener of choice for this recipe, but you can use honey or agave nectar instead. You can even make a sugar-free version of this recipe and omit the sweetener completely - they'll still be delicious.
    • Lime juice: The lime juice helps to balance out the sweetness of the fruit and gives these popsicles a little zing.
    • Water or mango nectar: You'll need a little bit of liquid to help blend the frozen mango and cherries. We like to use mango nectar, but you could also use water or a different fruit juice instead.

    Step-By-Step Instructions

To make cherry mango popsicles, you'll need a blender or a food processor and a popsicle mold. Once you have all of your equipment, you'll need to decide if you want to make layered popsicles or single-color popsicles.

To make single-color popsicles: Simply blend all of the ingredients together, pour into the popsicle mold and freeze.

To make layered popsicles: Add the frozen mango, coconut milk, and half of the maple syrup, lime juice, and mango nectar to the blender. Blend until smooth and then transfer the mango mixture to a separate jug or bowl.

Next, add the frozen cherries and the remaining maple syrup, lime juice, and mango nectar to the blender and blend until smooth.

Finally, pour or spoon the cherry and mango purees into the popsicle molds, alternating colors to create the different layers.

Put the lid on the popsicle mold and freeze for about 1 hour, then remove from the freezer and insert the popsicle sticks. Freeze for another 4-6 hours or overnight.

When ready to eat your popsicles, simply remove them from the mold and enjoy! If you have any difficulty removing the popsicles from the mold, you can run them under warm water for a few seconds and they'll come right out.

    Serving Suggestions And Substitutions

To dress up your mango cherry popsicles, try dipping them in a little bit of melted chocolate or rolling them in some chopped nuts or shredded coconut. You can also drizzle them with a little bit of honey or agave nectar for an extra special treat.

If you don't have a popsicle mold, you can always use small cups or even ice cube trays. Just be sure to use popsicle sticks that fit the size of your mold.

If you don't have frozen mango, you can use fresh mango or any other type of frozen fruit that you like. The same goes for the frozen cherries – you can use any type of frozen fruit that you prefer.

If you don't have coconut milk, you can use any type of milk that you like. You could also use yogurt or a dairy-free option like almond milk.

If you want to make a sugar-free version of this recipe, simply omit the sweetener. The popsicles will still be delicious!

    How To Store Leftovers

Leftover popsicles can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 months. Just be sure to store them in an airtight container or bag to prevent them from getting freezer burn. To prevent them from getting stuck together, we recommend putting a layer of parchment paper between the popsicles before freezing them together.

When you're ready to enjoy a popsicle, simply remove it from the freezer and let it thaw for a few minutes before eating.
